One of my strengths is my academics. I was the top in my class at Martinsville and in all the high-ability classes Martinsville offered. This year, I am in Spanish 1, Algebra 1, and English 8 Honors. This year, I also participated in Math academic team. I competed on the Interdisciplinary team and we got first in our class. Along with first in social studies and english. Second in science and third in math.
Another strength is being athletic. Athletics is really important to me. Its important because my family in the past has had health problems. For example, diabetes, weight, etc. Being an athlete has really helped me not end up with those problems. All the people in my family are athletes: my mom is a runner, my dad is a softball player, my brother is a tennis player and swimmer, and I am a swimmer and softball player. I love playing sports and being an athlete.
According to Mrs. Downing, one strength of mine is being a good person. To me, being a good person is something you choose to be. A good person is someone who is kind, caring, and having good morals. This is a picture of Kiana, Delaney, Emily, me, etc. helping with the Kids Who Help Haiti project we put on at a couple of the dances. We raised over three hundred dollars for Lulu. We made worry stones, sold candy canes and boo pops, and all kinds of other stuff. The money we raised is going to the orphanage down in Haiti, where the Skobels are getting Lulu.
